MOLTIN

Molting, a fundamental phenomenon for growth in Shrimp. The dynamic state of continuous atrophy and restoration of muscle proteins, to facilitate withdrawal from carapace during molting. In order to grow, Shrimp must molt (shed) the old exoskeleton and replace it with new and larger shell. This is a critical and crucial stage of shrimp's life cycle, though molting takes place at regular intervals in natural environment. But, in intensive farming practices molting process is delayed in shrimp because of several factors, such as non-availability of micro and macro nutrients in feed as well as in water, presence of toxic gases, poor Oxygen availability etc. To tackle this situation for consistent molt behavior, MBL, with its expertise and experience, developed a unique combination of Micro and Macro essentials for uninterrupted molt cycle in Shrimp.
